I vote for Meguiar's Quick Detailer - like a fruit. 2nd goes to Show Off - like coconut. 3rd, Griot's Speed Shine - like ???. (I haven't smelled any others, to be fair). Funny how these are "enhanced" with a nice odor. Make detailing more "personal".

My favs are-- Clear Pearl, Final inspection, OGSO, Mothers, 3M. In that order. These are the ones I have tried. Now which performs best is a different question all together.

Z6 smells like juicy fruit. Or some kind of gum that I chewed at some point in my life.

The best in performance & smell is Pinnacle Crystal Mist. That pina colada smell is the best.

I like Meguiars QD, One Grand Show Off, and Clear Pearl in no particular order. I don't just go and smell products at random, but darn some smell so goooooood.

But I have to say, the stuff that comes with clay magic makes me think I am on a beach surrounded by bikini girls while QDing the car......LOL It smells pretty good....just like the beach!

I'm with Meguiar's QD Spray. But I really haven't used that many different ones. Clear Pearl smelled really funny at first, but now it's OK.



What's Griot's Speed Shine smell like? How does it perform?

Pinnacle Crystal Mist is my favorite followed by Clear Pearl.

definitely the best smelling out of the 3 (final inspec, wipe n shine, z6) I have tried.

and the yellow jackets love it!I turned part of my garage into a gym so on the days I clean my car really good I make room for it inside.Never really thought much about it,but when its been inside overnight the smell of a clean car makes me happy in the morning.I can only imagine how good the Pinnacle smells.Bodyworks shampoo by Pinnacle smells way to good.

Mothers California Gold Showtime - mmmmm, cinnamon!

Not sure if I like anything else about it (only used it for clay), but love that smell.

I want the chemical products I use to smell like <em class='bbc'>chemicals[/i]! Unfortunately, all of the QDs I've tried smell like fruit, etc. -- this is the thing I like the least about detailing products.

Now Klasse products, they smell RIGHT!

Smells neither like a perfume or a fruit, but smells very good! Can't quite put my thumb on it. It performs like a champ, I use it after every car wash.

Practically every single quick detailer that I've tried smells real nice. Z6 is fine. Clear Pearl is nice too as is the Eagle One quick detailer. I think I'd have to give the edge to Show Off though. Now that one smells so good that you could just drink the whole gallon. Sometimes I even want to make a snow cone out of it. Laters.

Z6 and One-Grand Showoff for me. They both smell it is like their natural smell, and nothing was added to the chemical. Mother's and Meguiar's are both okay.



For Eagle One, I find the smell.... too-fake, like it's added to it (well it is anyways.)



Darn.... we are talking about which car product smells the best. I wonder what my wife would be like if I tell her.
