I tried searching for this but im finding things for Zaino and such. Im trying to find a simple list of things i should do to the baby:D for winter using Meguiars products since all of their stuff is readily available right near my house. The car has never been waxed, just washed every 1-2weeks. Im not sure if i should use clay bar or cleaner wax or what. The car also has 'light' scratches which im also not sure if should be taken care of now or after winter. Thanks for any help!

1) Wait until spring for the swirls and light scratches.

2) Your car was painted about 18 months ago and sat while the motor was worked, right? Then wash it, clay it, and apply either Megs #20 or Meg's Medallion Premium Paint Protectant.

This isn't a good time of year to do the whole nine yards, for those of us in the northeast.

little late for winter prep, but better late than never! If your going with megs use their polymer protectant or megs premium paint protectant. Dont worry about the scratches till spring or unless you got a heated garage to work in. Goodluck.

Damn good memory with the 18months dude, lol. I wanted to prep the car before winter but ive been stuck at school in Delaware so i couldnt do anything. That Meguiars #20, do you know what the name of the product is? Im trying to check it out on the site.

Alright, i found them now. I was using the search but it wasnt working. Now is there any reason why you guys are suggesting either the Polymer Sealant or the Medallion?

The Polymer Sealant #20 is more durable than #26 High Tech Wax. You will have less 'nice' days for detailing this time of year, so you want to maximize your paint's protection until the weather is nicer

I checked your profile to find out more about your car before answering; in there I checked your previous posts!

I suggested either #20 or Medallion because you indicated that availability is important to. Suggesting both gives you two shots at finding a product. Either one will do the job. There are minor differences, but both are good.

Ahh, i gotcha. If i use the #20, would that be the only thing to apply (for winter that is)? Any thing else that i should put on top of that?
