Winners Circle Detailing MicroFiber Towels

The WWs I recently received from Winner's Circle seem to have left towel marks all over my car. I'm going to try to test a little more to find out for sure.

Towel marks as in marring?!?! :scared

ZaneO .. which WCD MF's did you purchase? Also, on which vehicles did you notice the marring appearing on the paint? Finally how do you care for your MF? Do you wash them before the first use etc.?

I've been using WCD's green plush and WW since they introduced them with no problems. I don't doubt that you see marring, I'm just trying to reconcile your experiece with my own.

Thanks!

I purchased 4 ww's and 3 regular mf's. I noticed the marring on my Camaro, while using the ww's. I care for my towels with Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator, warm wash, no fabric softener, dry on low heat, and always wash before using.

I've been around the block before and know what I am doing.

The only thing that had changed in my routine was the towels, but I am going to do further testing to determine if it was the towels.

Perhaps the marring is in the wax or sealant? I had a problem with certain waffles weaves(not WCD) marring my sealant, but reapplication took care of the problem. I now dry with regular microfiber towels along with my leaf blower.

I don't want you to have marring either, but that's the first I've heard of any of our towels doing that. Year's ago my heart dropped after doing a high end car with my normal routine. I called the manuf. who said that I streaked the wax from my previous job. I reapplied and they were gone.

I don't think there's any difference in my towels vs. competition.. 75/25 blend with no tags. Not sure how they could have done that. However, please let us know further.

Thanks, Rob

Well, as I said, nothing in my routine changed except for the towels. And again, I will figure out a way to test them more.

My car was last sealed 2 months ago (Zaino), and I have washed it several times since then.

I didn't realize I got the WCD WW's on sale; the regular price is still good, but not the deal it was when on sale. The polishing cloths are outstanding at $1.85 ea., tho...and that's before any sales or discount.
