Will Turtle Wax Platinum Remove Mothers?

Thought of trying some Platinum, as it is locally available and cheap. I currently have Mother's Reflections on the car. Will this remove it? Thoughts are appreciated!

Wouldn't worry about it. Most waxes do not remove other waxes.

I use both TWP and Reflections. Both are excellent products. The paste version of TWP has stronger cleaners than the liquid and will probably remove some of the Reflections.



That shouldn't be an issue though, as you'll get the look of the final product anyway.

Not true. For OTC products, the vast majority are cleaner waxes, which *will* remove any other wax or sealant on the paint. As for the TW Platinum, I do not know, but I'd almost bet the farm that it has some sort of cleaners too. Most of the time, the wording on the bottle may give hints as to its cleaning ability, although some try to disguise it.

TWP has cleaners (as I stated in my previous post).
