Will polish cut through SG?

Guys,

I just ordered a PC and will be re-doing my auto soon, my question is. Will a polish such as meg #7 or #3 cut through SG topped with P21S? Or do I have to do some sort of wax removal(like dawn or aio) first?



BTW, its nice to know that there are other nuts like myself out there.
 
I wouldn't think that much of anything is going to survive a swirl remover. You might want to use something like AIO to get it off rather than #9 though.
 
dmarcus48-What Jngrbrdman said :up . Unless you have some swirls to deal with, you can just use AIO. But yes, if you ARE doing swirl removal, SMR's/polishes like #3 and #9 WILL cut right through the SG/P21S combo. BTW, the #7 glaze will too, due to solvent action.
 
Just wanted to thanks everyone for their replies. I've been an anal clean car nut for many years, but have never used products like Klasse or P21S before, or a PC. Since finding this site I'm going nuts with all the possibilities! I've done the aio, sg, P21s treatment on my car, but now I want to get rid of a few minor light scratches and build up the layers of sg before apply the p21s.
