Will Klasse twins stain black trim?

I have an Hummer (H2) detail coming up that has miles of black plastic trim on it. My plan is to use Klasse AIO followed with Klasse sealant...do I need to worry about taping of the trim? I think I remember reading that because it is an acrylic product it will not stain black trim...true or false?

JPostal- I guess one should never say "never", but it doesn't stain trim for me. In fact, I *use* the twins on black trim on numerous vehicles, and have for years. Just don't use too much product and consider the W-O-W-O method for the KSG.

Perfect. With the WOWO method do I still need to allow for the 8 hour cure time for SG before applying another layer? I only have this customers vehicle for the day so multiple layers is not an option if I have to allow cure time. Maybe I should consider a different LSP? I guess the other option is to set the customer up on a wash plan for the next few months and get additional layers of KSG on after washing.

I intentionally applied KAIO to my textured black exterior trim today. I would say that you can tell that you applied it to the trim, but it buffs off extremely easily, just like it was a painted surface.

JPostal- IME (and that's all it is...) you still need to wait even with the W-O-W-O, but that's not to say that subsequent applications would be a complete waste of time. Eh....hard to say :nixweiss

When I can only do one application, I usually go with 845 (VERY trim-friendly) or FK1000P (less so, you can do it, but be careful about excess product) instead as IME they're better when you can't do the layering.
