I just got my car paint sealed about 4 months ago. Will clay remove the paint sealent. I just want the best shine possible but i dont want to mess up the sealent i spend 300 bucks on?

Well claying should remove it. To tell you the truth your 300 bucks is probably already down the drain. Sealants that cost that much are/tend to be scams and dont usually last long. You can spend a fraction of that cost and do the right process to get a nice protection and great looking car.

What sealant cost $300 ?? :bigscream
Yea well i got the sealent with the car but it is 300 bucks if you take your car there and get it sealed i wouldent of got it if the dealership dident do it for me

Might be a good idea to do a whole routine (clay, polish, etc). I'm sure if they applied sealant, they probably installed swirls and marring free of charge. :)

What you might be calling a sealant as we know it here is really Perma Plate. I see this at about all the dealers that I have been to, and yes they do ask a few hundred bucks for it. Did they give you a kit with it by chance to maintain it?

If this is Perma Plate I do not thing that clay will take this off its pretty tuff stuff from what I have read about it.

I don't think I have ever heard of a delaership claying a vehicle. Do they even know what that is?

My point. For that kind of money they should have. If they did, he would not need to do it now, after the fact. Just being a little csarcastic.

For me, claying hasn't removed the stronger sealants (Zaino, Klasse). For waxes it takes a little bit off, but not a lot.
