Wife's Car from Accident

I trust they weren't 6 hours in treatment. At least in this area, you can sometimes spend more time in the emergency waiting room than being treated.

For the car's part, the damage doesn't look bad at all. Bumper replacement only? It doesn't appear that the quarter panel was compromised, except perhaps a bit of paint transfer.

Hope they feel better  the car is repairable :)

Glad to see that they are OK...as Steve said the car can be fixed...I suspect that the car looks worse than the impact was...those plastic bumpers don't hold up to much

Hope they feel better. THey're gonna be sore for a couple of days.
As far as the damage to the car...... "That'll buff right out"

Sorry to hear about the accident.
Glad the family is okay.
Put a few(or several) coats of wax on it and noone will notice the damage.:passout:

Glad they're both OK! Like someone said, they'll be sore for a few days! Cars can be fixed!!!

Most of those "rear-end" collisions are from people being in a BIG-HURRY!!! Happened to me and my family members a few times... They just need to slow down and be safe!!! :wall:mad::wall:mad:

Glad they are OK Angelo. It's a pain to deal with the hassle of the repairs and insurance companies, but it's easier to fix cars than people.

BTW, 105 and some wool will take that right out! :D

I knew someone would crack this joke on this thread.:crazy2:

Leave it to Eric to try to cheer you up.:bigups

Zoom glad to here that they are ok.

But rabbi is a "NUT" :rofl

Put a few coats of wax on it. :rofl

Glad to here everyone is OK Zoom. You might want to clay that area immediately :notme:

Thats about $2400 to $3100 in damage. Depending on the mileage you should be able to get around $2000 in DIMINISHED VALUE - don't pass up the chance. You have a limited time to file a claim. That claim process will commence after the vehicle has been restored to like new condition. Do not discuss diminished value with the insurance adjuster at the time he is evaluating the damage - this comes later.
Oh and yes you are entitled to diminished value even if you are at fault in the accident !!!!!!!:yay $$$$$$$

If this is true, you should definitely pursue it Angelo.

Hey, what are friends for? :lol2:

Zoom Zoom, glad to hear the loved ones are okay.

The important thing is that you family is OK.
Thats the reason that we have insurance, the car can be repaired

Angelo - it is a great thing to hear your wife and daughter are okay. I hope their soreness goes away SOON and they do not have any lingering pain for too long.

 Zoom, happy the girls are ok. But give us the word and we'll do some diminished value to the other guy.

Jeez, Angelo.....scary.
Wonderful that they are OK. Something like that certainly puts priorities in proper order quickly, doesn't it?

Glad your family is ok.

I'm very happy to see all these post's on DC, One great place to be on always. Thank you everyone for your comments. They are doing OK but still had some pain and minor headaches too. Will keep you posted on this matter.............Angelo............

Glad to hear they're OK and I hope they're feeling better soon. Sorry to hear about this and I'm late to the thread but as others have already said, the vehicle is much easier to repair than your wife and daughter.

Hope it turns out for the best, Angelo.

Well you didn't really have to go that far to teach me the correct why to do paint correction.Glad everyone is fine we will laugh about it next week for sure

It's good that everyone seems to be recovering OK.

One thing that might not be a bad idea is to not sign anything that releases the insurance company from future liability if your family has some problems that require more treatment.
Neck and back injuries can be very hard to diagnose. If you have an attorney, you might want to get his opinion.
I'm not advocating lawsuits, just being sure to get the things taken care of that you deserve to have taken care of.
Pretty hard to put a "diminished value" on pain that doesn't go away.

I like to read these kinds of threads. You get the feeling of concern for the well being of the members family. Then you get the relief that all are doing well albeit sore and stiff. In every dark cloud there is a silver lining. I am glad that you were able to find that one. Sorry about the car as well.

:dcrules

Very good point Charles.

Hey Angelo...I am glad that your family is ok. The damage doesn't look to bad. I hate dealing with insurance companies. Hope everything turns out ok.

Great Point Charles amkes. I always sign Everything "Donald Duck" unless its a contarct that protects me. Thats how I was able to get out of my Cell phone contract after 90 days!
