A few years ago I dated a Russian girl who used to live in south Florida for a decade or so and when I asked her what she thought about it the first thing she told me was "I couldn`t believe how many people think it`s okay to wear socks under sandals, all year long!"

I think that was the funniest thing she ever said :) and has resonated in my thoughts of a typical Floridian since, lol.

edit: come to think of it I talked to somebody from WI today (at work) and he was dissing on TX, lol. I had to take it like a professional employee. It was tough, lol
 
Glad to hear he`s doing better Ron. Sorry I missed you at the Ft Meyers show. I think the weather scared off a lot of people. There should have been twice as many cars there, but still some good representation of mustangs and vettes showed. I was shocked there were no Cobra Jet Mustangs there. Maybe I need to move my other car to Florida...

I wear a winter coat if it gets under 20 here or under 40 and I am going to be out side for over an hour straight.

Edit: I do change out to winter blood though 15W40. its a lot thicker.
 
I still don`t know how you detail cars in the FL heat. I don`t detail for a living and for the most part only do my cars and my familys cars but I`m in CT and I`m already dreading the temps in my garage this Summer.

Looking at getting a ceiling mounted fan to help move some air.

you can do it outside or if lucky enough :notme: have an air conditioned garage

edit: you can also spray yourself down with a hose or jump in a pool :lol:
