Does this mean we can get it from outside of california? I mean, can I have my dad ship it to me from MD? If so, whats the problem?

Some regulations spread like viruses. It will be only a matter of time before it will be a national standard. Remember when Cali vehicles had more stringent pollutions devices, decreased drivibility, gas mileage and power? Today all vehicles meet Cali standards. Actually this was a good thing. Vehicles are far more efficient, clean and even more powerful. :xyxthumbs

While we're on the subject of new environmental regulations, monitors (CRTs and LCDs) are also subject to some environmental fee now. Found out the hard way when I had to pay an extra $8 on a Dell LCD recently.
