Why Klasse will always be in stock

I have a 1999 Black Dodge Conversion van. The roof sits about 7 feet off the ground. Over the years I never waxed, polished or even washed the top. Just too high. I was Lazy. I couldn't reach it. Then it got so bad it made me nervous, I new I could never attack this by hand. I got on the ladder and it looked like silver grey finish on the top. Finally got my PC awhile ago. I says to myself, well this will certainly put Klasse to the test. I got a ladder big enough to reach the top and went to work with Klasse All In One/Orange power pad(s). Klasse ate thru the oxidation like a termite on a 2 x 4. Looks brand new. Sure, there are defects there but I dont care, you cant see it. Took me 7 pads to finish the job. Im not nervous anymore. Two thumbs up for Klasse. Yes, I wish I had pics.

Why Klasse will always be in stock

This may not always be the case.

We may be loosing Klasse to the new VOC regs as soon as the supplies produced by 12/31/04 are exhausted. All non-compliant formulates can be retailed if produced prior to the date on new reg implication (01/01/2005).

In other words, all Klasse purchased after this date, including the bottles purchased in 2006 and 2007 ( end of grace period) will be old stock.

Does Klasse have a shelf life?

Are there any plans to meet the new VOC standards?

I would hate to loss AIO as it is today in terms of functionality and versatility. :(

Oh man that sux, if i lose Klasses. Let me order gallon of twin, just incase. Im sure theres aleternative ways beside Klassess.

I wonder how many of the products we like to use are non-compliant in their current form and need to be reformulted.

It sounds like Klasse is one.

What about,

P21S/S100 GEPC and Wax

Menzerna IP and FP II

Stoners IG

Zaino

The list goes on and on. Some of these products will disappear or be reformulated and probably be nothing like they are now. We will have to try everything all over again to find what works best for us. What a PITA

Wow! I'd really be at aaloss without AIO.

Although the concept has no apparent basis in fact, it is entirely possible, considering the wide ranging effects of Kalifornia regulation.

Even though I don't completely buy the concept of a required formulation change, the impact on my shop's "Process and Procedure" would be dramatic, so'll I'll be stocking up!

Who has the best Klasse AIO value (incl shipping, etc)?

I'm buying gallons!

Jim

7 pads as in they were totally destroyed, or just 7 pads got totally loaded-up/dirty before the job was complete? 7 orange pads, or was that 7 total for the job including subsequent polishing and finishing steps?

I know for a fact that Zaino is good to go. No changes needed (for many years now).

It was 7 orange pads for the whole job. No I did not destroy them. I had 3 to begin with. After each pad was at its limit, I would stick it in a bucket of hot water and let em soak. Then rinse it out when I needed another one. Then just keep repeating the process. Klasse was all I used, did not have time to apply a sealant, but I will put a 2 coats of FMJ on soon.

AIO=big loss if true.

SG=can live w/o, but a change would be good.

As for 7 pads, lol! PC with an orange pad and AIO, lol. " Klasse ate thru the oxidation like a termite on a 2 x 4." The termite would have beat you, lol. Sorry couldn't resist, AIO isn't an orange pad product. You would have saved a lot of trouble if you used an abrasive polish then cleaned it with a finishing pad and AIO, just for people who want to try this in the future. having said that AIO is very good on oxidation, but not that good. Your orange pad probably worked too hard and that why you ended up with all those imperfections.

7 pads on a roof?:nono

OFF-TOPIC:

Is the Z-2 Pro compliant already? I'm just beginning to love this product...:(

The nice folks in Califronia have got the ball rolling and many products are not allowed in that state due to some tree hugger, and I mean that in a nice way :)

I know that Terry from CMA had a run in with these folks and many of the QD's had to be or have to be re-formulated to meet the laws.

This will effect many products BUT the good thing is that this forces companies to get back to the drawing board and create new products, more user friendly and enviro friendly, and that's always a good thing.

Many new chemicals coming out that are more water based.......but wait, what if we then run out of water?:shocked :D

Car paint will be changing to plastic films in the next few years anyways so a whole new slew of car care products will need to come out for that also.

Does this mean we can get it from outside of california? I mean, can I have my dad ship it to me from MD? If so, whats the problem?
