Why do I live here...

Really, snow builds character. Those people in FL are a bit too comfy. Snow keeps you on your toes. You have to plan for snow. You have to adapt.

Definitely crazy weather. Yesterday was mid 50`s, today a foot of snow! I hate the cold but at least it kills the bugs. Can`t deal with the humidity and flat landscape of Florida.

What gets me is when people from the North East try to tell me they don`t understand why they`re at fault for driving off the road and hitting a snow bank.

I generally ask "so how often does it snow up there?" :)

How do all ya`ll NE make out ?

I usually wait till it stops before I go out to blow the snow.
Did not realize how heavy and wet this snowfall until it was too late....
Got all the areas done but my hat and gloves were soaked. Living less than a mile off the water doesn`t help. Figured I`d head in for a quick drink and a change of clothes..
Got to comfy and went back out only a hr later.

The EOD was frozen solid. Blower was riding up on hardpack Who knew snow can freeze so fast ;-). Took a ice chopper and it was one solid frozen mass and the sun just came out.
Gave up .....and tackled the EOD today.

They drive way to darn fast! We drove the interstate only 2 miles and there was a car in the median. We were all doing 30-35 and this guy comes blowing past us doing 55 (confirmed by constriction sign showing your your speed). We also witnessed a FWD car getting stuck up a small hill. He must of had bald tires because I was driving the company`s E250 which is super light in the rear. It made it up the hill no problem. Now going around corners; never thought I could drift a work van...

YIPPY, more snow over night another 3" just for a :kick:. Good part is none of the secondary road have been cleared from yesterdays storm. Oh yeah and also rain or snow sunday into monday.

Aside from the hazards of snow and ice, I think New England vs Florida is simply trading this for that. I don`t enjoy detailing for 6 months out of the year because it`s just too humid and hot. I can just check my tire pressure in August and soak through a shirt.
