I've read more than one post here about the difficulties involved with the application of SG. It seems to be a consistent theme at AUTOPIA, and 95% of the complaints about this product have come from posters that I respect a great deal (i.e., knowledgeable experienced detailers).
I'm a little confused about the acrimony toward this product, because I've had nothing but good experiences with it. I mostly use it as a WOWO product, although I've also let it dry for a few hours. Either way, it has been easy to use, and I get no streaks, clouding, or other problems. I just get a really nice shine.
I prefer the wetness and slickness of UPP and Carnuba based products seem to bead water a lot better. But, I find SG easy to use, and I really like the results.
