As they say...The Cats in the bag...

booked back in August for this past weekend drop off.

he used to own a Toxic Orange SRT 392 Challenger but, as he puts it, "added a supercharger" lol.

very cool client to have acquired. I`ve know him through the club about two years.

its always a nice site to come home friday after work to the car waiting in your driveway.

complete with this and the words "i trust you" which each and every Red key dropping Hellcat owner has said. And they`ve all been red keys except for one (which only had ~700mi-go mango charger)

opt paint prep
applied CSL, took about 2 hrs to coat and then I applied a light mist of C2v3 and he had to take the car. i really need to have these cars more than 48 hrs because I have to work a shift at the day job Saturday... and sleep, haha.

here are all the pics i could get. sorry no sun shots, it was dark and i was running out of time...

i spent a lot more time polishing this car than I planned. he arrived hours early, can`t say I blame him, lol.

we hung out in my garage discussing my desire to upgrade to the shaker and looked at pics and he even searched for a few shakers for me. we discussed my business, marketing, sales, etc. i also educated him on products and showed him what he needed.

i gave him with a 32oz rtu bug squash
some wolfs mean green rw
32oz uber qd
a couple good micros
and probably a few other items I forgot about.

he tipped me a benjamin and brought truck back completely full of gas. awesome! he even said he probably should have paid me more after our conversation while he was there about how much work I really put into these cars. either way, I`ll have to say he is easily my favorite client! even said he will tell his father in law (or father, o forget) who has a viper that he will bring his car over here and drop it (that guy lives in the valley, btw- South, South Texas)

probably a pipe dream at this point but hey he`s the one who offered and even started planning out the logistics right then.
only one condition, he said..
I`d have to charge him more, as he reminded me im running a business and devoting time to something out of choice not necessity so i should be compensated accordingly.

i guess sometimes I get caught up and forget things like this

he travels for work so has been out of town all week but said he`d take some pictures soon in the sun so once I get them I will post them up here.

here`s what I took

Awesome! I love when clients get excited about giving you more business.

Just recently i did a Jeep Rubicon with major dog hair removal. Not even a week later he brought me his 2 motorcycles.

About a month later he calls and tells me he bought a brand new Harley Davidson Ultra Classic CVO and wants it coated. Along with his brand new GMC 3500 Denali HD dually. And he wants to fully detail and coat his wife`s Jeep!

Just keep doing your thing man! And dont be afraid to start increasing your prices.

BTW. Can you give me a reason not to buy a Nano!?!? Lmao. I really want one but I am having trouble pulling the trigger on it.

Nice Job, Crazy car.

How do you like the vinyl cleaner and protectant?

I have a vehicle with matte vinyl and its a PITA to keep looking good. I end up polishing it and coating it too often.

were these stripes Matte, it looks glossy in the pics

thanks,

Jeff

Awesome work Brandt! There are detailers who simply clean cars, there are detailers who work for money, and there are passionate detailers like you who love what they do and your work shows it. The feeling of wanting to keep a car for an extra day or two isn`t ordinary, it`s what separate the average joes to guys like you. Thanks for always raising the bar :)

Just perfect !!!!
You are the Man !!!
Beautiful work!!!
Looks like you are the Best Mopar Detailer out there forever - a very good thing !

Get one of the biggest Orange Cones you can find - its tall enough to see from the seat of most vehicles and since its bigger in diameter, you can see if you start squishing it and help you stop sooner.. :)

thanks Dan... as far as parking the challenger- that wasn`t hard.. I`ve been parking a challenger in that garage every day for 3 years

the pucker factor was from the viper clutch and the knowledge that I had the red key in there! hahahaha I never touched the gas, just feathered it in with the transmission pull

finally personally got some sun shots yesterday...
