White Chevy Pick-UP w/ NXT and Wet Wax

Here is another car I did for my mechanic. It's his personal vehicle, a 1994 Chevy Pickup with 51k miles. It's parked outside so it's not perfect but it's pretty damn clean.

The paint was stained badly from IFO and some rust. It was also etched pretty bad from sitting out in the sun and under trees. At first glance it looked pretty good, but as I started working it looked worse :)

-Mother's Gold Wash

-Clay Magic and Wolfgang Clay (theyre both identical, just different colors)

-#80 Speed Glaze via Rotary and Meg's Polishing Pad at 1500 rpm

-NXT by hand

-Auto Magic Wet Wax by hand (client's request)

-Old No.7 Chrome Polish on all Chrome

-Mother's Aluminum Polish on wheels (10 yrs old!) and Mirrors

-Shineola Max on all plastic and rubber (client's request)

-Bleach White on White Letters (clien't request)

This combo proved to look quite wet :)

Enjoy!

Very nice glow for white paint! Looks like your mechanic takes pretty good care of his truck, based on the before pic.

C-MDX: Yeah like I said, I got there and I thought he already washed the thing. Upon further inspection, it needed a clay and polish job real bad. As you all know, it is hard to capture the attributes of white, although I wish I was better at it to show a close-up of the paint (mine didn't come out well). It really cleaned up a ton from beginning to end.

travisdescpn: Thank you!

Scott: Thanks Scott. He does take very nice care of it, but it definately needed my attention :) . I never realized how bad white stains from everything, but for a 1994, I'd buy it.

On another note, I'm gonna try to get some more of this Auto Magic Wet Wax. It left the surface noticeable wetter looking than just NXT alone so I would love to see it on a dark color.
