I would have to say white is not a color that can be detailed out so well that someone would say Wow how did you do that. With that said I do own a white SUV and detail it well because I like it clean. As far as using a LSP to make it really pop out, I find that most nice waxes look more or less the same. It is worth polishing out the car well and remove the swrils. You can get a nice glow to it, but IMO putting Souvern would not get a better look than something sterile like SG or Ziano. I usually put on a longer lasting LSP because I don't find too much added depth using a carnuba.

I'm really fond of my white stang (not to many v8 white ones in my area) and have found VM topped with megs #16 to be quit pleasing

Also the average white vehicle that are not well prepped I can see a differece comparing them to mine. You can get a nice glow out of white and it shows, just look at the Navi 94BlkStang posted that looks awesome well done.

Both my cars are white, and i love them but the only time you can notice its brillince over just a normal wax is @ night for in a parking garage.

I personally think a well detailed white vehicle looks very classy. My wife has a white Camry and I drive a black Dakota. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier to keep the Camry clean than my Dakota. I use Zaino on the Camry and the Klasse twins on my Dakota. The next vehicle I'm buying will be white. Chrome and the wheels on a white vehicle really stand out as does clean windows.

I normally dislike white cars, but there are some that can really pull it off. A good example is White95Max's Protege - tasteful mods, good design, and it looks great in white. Generally I like cars with clean lines in white; if they have too much going on or too much trim the white kind of gets overwhelmed. I'll tell you the first car I ever saw in white that I said "wow" about was a G35 coupe. Ivory Pearl is actually one of the more common color choices for those cars, and it's easy to see why.

I agree with Picus. White generally leaves me cold as does most silver. I do think pearl white is a warmer look and looks sharp on something like the G35. Picus, I do think you mean Maxy's Maxima that he has sold. His Mazda Protege is silver.
Since I started this thread I have decided that I really like black or white cars. I like black because of the reflectivity but i've also noticed that my car looks SOOO good after a nice detail. It's just hard for me to polish out the marring without worrying about overpolishing.

Take any abrasive polish with a clean towel (not white in your case) and rub the polish into the paint. If the color of the paint shows up on the towel, it's single stage paint.
Yeah Picus, my Protege is silver. The Maxima was pearl white.
