White Car Maintenance

What products do you use for removing stains and maintaining the "whiteness" for your white car? :o

I just clayed the roof of my car, it had accumulated months of dirt and grim, but it was really smooth after I clayed and polished it :). I used the soft99 clay bar and turtle wax polishing compound (for white paint), I wonder if these products are good?

white will require lots of washing, i have seen white paint turn kind of yellowish. What year car are we talking about?

You can maintain the car with the same way you would any other color.

I just did a white car today. Told my Mom that I was going to wash it weekly, cause of the condition and amount of time it took.

I clayed twice, DACP where needed, #9 and (my all time fav.) #26. I think it came out real well. BTW it was the first time I misted the pad while using #9. I think that had something to do with it, too.

I think white cars are the best! I have had customers return from their houses wearing shades because looking at the paint in the sunlight was painful. The other obvious points are that white does not show imperfections like blacks and reds.

There are some polishes that will say, "excellent on dark colors", but they should be fine on white.

Keep the trim looking good as it will help bring out the white of the paint.

My daily driver is a white. Sometimes I get this nasty finger print marks on the hood whichs is annoying esp. those that have grease. Can you recomment a good quick detailing spray for this?
