White BMW 745il Detail

This was Todays detail. As you can see, the wheels needed some love. The rest of the car was in fair shape. Interior rugs needed a good shampoo. Car is sold and is being shipped to California on Saturday in an enclosed trailer.



My process:



Washed complete exterior & cleaned engine compartment



Removed wheels, polished w/Wicked Polish, sealed with AIO



Clayed exterior with Opti-Clay



Buffed exterior with Optimum Polish by rotary



Hand application of AIO



Hand application of EXP



Hand application of UPP



Complete Interior Detail

Yeah, at first I didn't like them either, but you fall in love with this car after you drive it!



For tire dressing I used Meguiars Gold Class Endurance tire gel. I just decided to try a bottle to see how it works. It does sling a little, but I found that if you let it set on the tires for a while it greatly reduces the sling. Not sure if I would buy another bottle.

I am glad that your pictures show off white so beautifully (?). Excellent detail. What pad did you use with OP?

I used a white foam pad from CMA. (Classic Motoring Accessories)
 
Very, very nice! :)



I hear ya on those wheels. Even worse, BMW carried them over to the '06 750s. It should be a law that cars with nasty brake dust problems be limited to 5 spoke or less wheels with no 90 degree angles.
