I think you misinterpreted my "Just do it" comment ... it was meant as advice, not an insult. Do you think the Nike ads are really intended to insult their audience, or rather to inspire and/or encourage? My comment was meant in that spirit.
All products, pads, speed, pressure, paint, defects, etc. combinations will yield different results. The best way to determine what will be the most effective for you is to actually perform the work. The "Just to it" was to say .... "Don't worry, start applying what you've read here, see what works for you, and don't suffer from analysis-paralysis. Doing it will help you understand what works best more than just talking about it"
I agree with your statement "you can't learn if you don't ask" ... but I would add "you can't learn what works best for you on your car unless you actually physically do it".
You'll also note that my first response directly gave advice about what polish in your list I would recommend.
Just my opinion, please take it as advice and not an insult.
