Which Wax on top of Klasse SG?

I tend to prefer Klasse twins with SG x5 and no wax topper with the exception of Souveran on black. Once SG starts needing some kick in the looks department after I already have 5 layers, I start using Aquawax to refresh the look. AW gives a very good approximation of SG, not quite as eye-popping but only by a miniscule amount. That seems to be the opinion of all that have seen my cars.

The waxes that I have tried as a topper for SG all lessened the wet nail polish look. While NXT paste, S100, Meg's GC, DWG and Souveran all looked good over SG, only Souveran improved on the overall appearance of the car. PS just took black to another dimension, giving up some gloss for glow and depth (lots of both). PS just looks luxurious. But I get the most stares when the car has AIO/SG only.

I used to be a heavy Klasse user. Great product, BTW. As the others have suggested, a fine carnauba like P21S, Blitz Wax, etc. works quite nice.

OTOH, if you wish to add something to your bag o' tricks, SONUS has the Acrylic Glanz which is sort of like an instant detailer. You mist it on and move around the entire vehicle in a few short mins:

A strategy like this permits you to greatly extend the life of the Klasse protection...

I use the very similar Werstat twins and I liked the look of them unwaxed well enough. Until I started experimenting with different waxes including a few mentioned in this thread. My favorite?

On my dark metallic gray Mazdaspeed3, Good old Blitz Wax! It darkens the color just ever so slightly to enhance body contours, yet is still very clear so the mica in the paint really pops through.

It doesn't have the slick feel of more modern carnuba's, and they have a circa 1994 web site with no commerce engine so you have to phone or FAX your order in still (!), but Blitz looks fantastic on this, and my last car too. It's also very durable, as long as you aren't measuring durability by feel but by look and by beading. It also layers very well. If you want to slick it up a little though, use their Show Off after application, and after every wash. It's formulated to match the look of the Blitz, unlike some other QD's that can change the look of the underlying wax.

I don't see One Grand's stuff mentioned here very often, probably because it's such an old product line and is kind of hard to find. But it's still one of the best, IMO, and won't break the bank.
