Which QD Spray over Klasse SG?

I just completed my 1st detail with the Klasse twins. The first coat of SG looks fabulous!@

Since I plan to add (2) more coats to this car (white paint), I would like to know which of the following QD sprays I can safely use between coats without harming the SG, as well as which QD spray is best after the final coat of SG.

I have:

PB SW

PB SG

WG Deep Gloss Spritz

Meg's QD

Thanks

Eagle One Wipe n' Shine works well for me between layers. One you hit layer #3 and it has cured 24 hours, SG really starts to come to life. I only use it in the winter, a very durable product.

I've tried many, many QDs over SG. I have two different versions of QDs - one for cleaning and one for adding gloss and extending protection. The light cleaning QD is always PoorBoys SW. The rejuvenating QDs that have worked the best are Wolfgang's Spritz, Menzerna's HGAS and a home brew made up of 3 parts distilled water to 1 part SG. Menzerna has proven to be the best (by a slim margin) but the home brew is as good as the wonderful Wolfgang at a fractioni of the price of the others. I am now experimenting with Jeff's Spray and Gloss over Jett. So far, so good.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! The OP is asking which QD will not compromise further layers of SG. I cry foul at the Meg's QD as well as the Pb's S&G, I would be concerned about their silicone content interfering with the SG adhesion...not sure about the other two. Any of them should be fine after the last coat. As was suggested, the Sonus Acrylic Spritz or Glanz is a good choice between layers.

I was wondering spcifically about the use of the EO WW&S inbetween the SG coats. I was under the impression that WW&S contained silicone too but for quite a while CMA has recommended using WW&S to prime the applicator/pad before application of SG so I'm kinda confused at this point.

Secondly, I wish we knew for sure which QD's compromise LSP's. Unless one obtains MSDS sheets and can interpet them, who knows what's really going on? Alcohol and/or solvent containing products would surely slowly destroy the LSP's, wouldn't they?

I have always used ClearKote QuickShine inbetween layers of SG. Not only is QS one of the best performing QD's available but it works equally well with any sealant or carnauba wax. This versatility, great look, and pretty good slickness have always warranted the extra cost for me. I do love #425 for its slickness but I have yet to use it with SG.

QuikShine works great over SG. But my favorite for the Klasse Twins would be der Sonus Twins, AKA Acrylic Spritz and ACrylic Glanz. Bot work well, but the Glanz adds a certain pop to the finish. I plan on doing my car with AIO/SG today, actually. I did my silver clearcoated wheels with AIO/SG last night and sprayed on a coat of Acrylic Glanz. They look better than new!

Over Klasse or Werkstatt, I agree with the others that the Sonus Acrylic Spritz and Glanz are awesome. The AS is a great QD, cleans well, shines well, and smells awesome. The Glanz is an awesome quick booster for the sealant.

I have also had great success with Z6/Z8, Quikshine, Adam's, Wolfgang DS, NXT Speed Detailer... really you can use just about any QD over SG/AJ, but like I said, my favorite is Sonus, hands down.

Thanks, everyone. Since I don't want to go out and buy another QD to add to my collection at this time, I'll probably use the Wolfgang as a QD over the Klasse SG, unless someone tells me that it will harm the bonding of the SG. I also may make my own QD using the previously suggested SG and water. Then I'm putting the exact same product on, only diluted.

Well...... I gave it a test run using the WG DG Spritz on the front end of the car as a QD. Then I applied my 2nd coat of Klasse SG. It was much more difficult to wipe off using the WOWO method I used very successfully on the 1st coat of SG. I don't like the look, either as compared to the look after the 1st coat. Maybe it will improve overnite as the 1st coat did (1st coat was applied 3 days ago).

I can only conclude from this trial.....do not use the WG DG Spritz as a QD between coats. I am thinking that it is possible the 2 products did not agree with each other very well. Lesson learned.

When I do the rest of the car with the 2nd coat of KSG, I'll give it a full wet wash and dry.......NO QD between coats.
