Which products reject dust better than others?

I live in the dustbowl that is west Texas. It seems we have a problem with silt being carried by the wind. I don't have a garage and my car spends it's time outdoors. Another problem, it's a dark colored corvette, the fiberglass doesn't help in the static charge department.



What products have you found to attract less dust than others?
 
You can use any product you wish for sealing, I would reccommend a polymer for that Tx sun. Just make sure you top with a Carnauba. Its less of an attractant than the oily polymers ! I for one, use polymers for their durability, and top with Carnaubas for the exact reason your writing this thread ! Course you could go with Klasse, that would solve your problem in and of itself !
 
I'm in the process of applying several coats of Klasse to my truck before winter arrives and have found that KSG by itself does not attract dust and a lot of what does get on it blows off as you drive.
 
Hey JCaire I was born and raised in Lubbock. So I feel your pain. I have had good results with the Klasse Twins. They have good durability and a lasting shine. Check it out....Andrew
 
S100 is the least dust attracting carnauba I've used and on days with a strong southwest wind, we do get a lot of west Texas dust here in the DFW metromess.

Best at repelling *IMO* are:



1. Klasse

2. P21S



The worst offenders when attracting dust are:



1. Zaino

2. Blitz



However, dust really isn't an issue with me (even with Zaino) as I CCD/QD my car frequently.
 
I do find that Zaino attracts less dust as time goes on (as its shine improves and beading increases.) I hear it has to do with its static cling...



I agree, S100/P21S almost repels dust and dirt.
 
Thanks guys. We just have sooo much dust in the air out here. If there is any dew in the morning all the dust that settled overnight looks really nasty. I have been using a polymer, but have not been topping with a carnuba. I have a carnuba I've been wanting to try, just haven't gotten around to it yet. We'll see if it improves.
 
I have a red corvette and I know your pain. When you start using the carnauba topping try to use Quick Shine from clearkote as a quick detail.



It looks like dust hates that thing. It won't be near your vette anymore. When I was using Zaino I have to dust my car every day. The fiberglass was not helping like you said.
 
I get almost no dust with PUPP. I haven't topped it for that reason, my car now sits in the garage and there isn't a layer of dust on it whenever I see it as opposed to Souveran which I had on it before.
