Which PC 7336 or 7424

- Which one to buy? I looked for the differnece but could not find. It's just $20 diff to 7424. Please can somebody tell me the diff and pros cons?

Also, I'll using it with Zaino's Z-PC and Z2 and Z5. I've been using Zaino with hand for last two years and would like to know

- if Orange pad with Z-PC and

- Gray or Blue for Z2 will work?

- Which backing plate is better?

The only difference is the counterweight (which is really negligble). Do a search and you'll find lotsa threads on this..

Buy the one that costs less, as was stated the only difference is the counterweight. You can purchase a different weight for $2.00 if you think you need it.

I'm using Propel pads and backing plate. I use the green pad for Z-PC, the orange may be to aggressive unless your paint is in poor condition. The gray pad works well for Z-2 Pro.

I find its so easy to get a super thin coat of Z-2 using my 7336 and a gray pad.

One thing that bothers me since getting into the PC business and what pads to use, is that there is no standard in the Pad industry on the pad color and how agressive it is. Lake Country list the white pad as more agressive than the black. Yet another maker that I bought from switches the order. Then there are green, orange, yellow and blue pads. So..if you are reading Forums on pad use and they are using a certain color to do something you need to know what make they are using. Likewise if you are ordering Pads be sure what their color code is for usage. You can find that on their web site before ordering. I don't know why this is other than to keep you hooked up to using their pads or if its to keep us confused.

Hope this helps... listen to advise... Yes... but know what you are buying.
