Which Pad to Use with SSR2.5?

I just purchased SSR2.5, and I was going to use it with an orange pad. I have read people getting hazing with this combo. My question is how effective is SSR2.5 with a white polishing pad? Or is it not worth it at all? My paint is 6 months old with slight swirls, etc. Thanks.

Welcome dchu,
If your paint is only 6 months old with slights swirls, you may not even need SSR 2.5
I would start with SSR1 with a polishing pad and check your progress. It may require more than 1 pass to achieve the results that you want.

Remember to always use the least aggressive comination first

BTW, what type of car and what color is it?

Congrats on the new ride and enjoy your stay here at DC

My wife and I both have new cars. Mine is an Infiniti G35 (diamond graphite), and my wife got the Volvo S40 (dark blue metallic). Thanks for the info. I'll try the SSR1 with the polishing pad and move up to SSR2 with the polishing pad if necessary. Thanks.

I just got my SSR2.5 and SSR1. I'm going to use Meg's w8006 polishing pads, I'v read good results with these pads. I think i'm gonna 1st try SSR1 to see the results I get. I have alot of cobwebbing and etches I need to reove. Maybe SSR1 will be enough to remove them.

Hazing won't occur if you use the product properly. I have been successful with SSR2.5 on both a medium aggressive pad or a finishing pad. I prefer the Lake Country VC pads.
