Seems like there are a lot of stuff for the 7424 are they the same for the 7336? Whats the difference between them?

Thanks
Rick

The difference is the size of the weight. The 7424 has a 5" weight while the 7336 has a 6". Odds are you will want a 6" weight. As far as the actual machine, they're identical.

I just bought a 7336 today, I ordered a 5" backing plate with 6.5" pads. Will that backing plate and those pads work with the 7336?

That's what I have been using for almost 2.5 years so I would have to say yes.:)

Thanks man. Sorry for all the petty questions, still trying to get all this stuff down. It's a lot to take in if you want the best results. Why have the wto different models of machines, just have one, and order the weight you want. I can't wait to really start using this PC.

No question is petty or stupid. I think it's great that you wanna learn. I'm a newbie myself and have used my PC only a handful of times. These forums are a great place to share what we've learned, no matter what level we're at. Just trying to help my fellow detailing peers out...

It shows a lot that you're here on DC. 99.9% of people don't know about the quality of products available to them, so it is important that we spread the knowledge for future detailers out there.

Have fun with your PC, you'll love the results!!!

I looked at the 7336ssp at Lowe's today, $99.00, its set up for wood sanding which might come in handy later finishing a wood project. It's cheaper and I have to order a pad kit anyway. I belive I'll go this way.

Thanks
Rick
