which of these products for metal?

I agree Pro40 is a great product I got some about two years ago from a local company and use it a lot.
On un-polished Aluminim it kicks butt and that's the reason I got it to start with.

Have you ever tried to use Pro40 on aluminum diamond plate? Examples might be aluminum running boards, toolboxes, etc.

This thread has also gone off-topic. The original question was about Poorboy's Pro Polish and Clearkote's Metal Polish. P21S is off-topic. This type of situation was discussed at length in a previous thread - Answering the question

I'm not sure why this is a problem but I'm new here. I figure if i had a suggestion that would be cool, were not in court are we?

My favorite is Mothers, I've tried about 10 and the only one that comes close is Wenol, but I always come back to mothers. Most of them dry out over time but mother will never dry if you keep it closed, and I believe I get near 100 sets of mags out of the economy size. If you need real strong cleaning then Astonish, but it doesn't protect and it might marr slighly.

Another one:nono why can't anyone stay on topic?

because the question wasn't what is your favorite metal polish

this is the question and i want to know the answer too!!

Having no experience with either product I'm debating whether to use Clearkote's metal polish or Poorboy's pro-polish for stainless steel, and chrome. Which would you pick?

You don't have to be in court to keep a thread on the appropriate topic.
If I asked you a question, "If you had two choices, chocolate or vanilla ice cream, which one would you pick?" and your answer was "my favorite is strawberry ice cream" I would soon realize that you are not willing or able to carry on an intelligent conversation with me.

Why should things be any different on the internet or more specifically, on Detail City? They shouldn't.

I expect people that are able to use the internet, become a member of Detail City and post content on my website to do so in an intelligent and well thought out manner. Just as if we were communicating in person.

Just because we are not in court does not mean that we should not answer the questions at hand and just feel free to go off topic outside of the "Off Topic" forum.

Does this make sense?

Let's get back to the original post that started this thread:

If you cannot answer this gentleman's question then do not take this thread off topic with conversation about products that he has not asked about.

Dwayne- Maybe you could tell Mr Waxer to stop acting like a moderator, and accusing people of being spys for other companies.

Since you did not respect my request to get this thread back on topic, I am forced to ask that you please find another website to post on.

His complaints about you sounding like a biased salesman and taking this thread off topic were valid. Although I prefer that people use the "report post to moderator" button, which I'm sure he will use in the future, I have to agree with what he was complaining about.

Maybe I need a no nonsense moderator to enforce the rules at Detail City.

Bringing us back on topic:
If have not tried Clearkote's product... so I can not comment on it
I have been very happy with the results from Pro-polish.
Hope this helps
