Which inst. detailer compatible with Collinite 476S?

So I am very impressed with Collinite 476S. I drive black Porsche Cayman S 2-3 times per week (even in this weather) and I am very happy with 476S. Since I do not have my own garage, regular detailing is not an option, so longevity is a biggie to me.

Now after I wash the car, I like to use quick detailer while drying off the car.

I have used Pinnacle Crystal Myst, but it is darn expensive. Any other a bit less expensive Quick Detail sprays that are a bit cheaper and compatible with 476s?

Would Meguiers Final Inspection (#34) work?

Well, Pinnacle and Sonus stuff looks like the same price. I want to get like a bulk size bottle (32oz or so) to save a bit.

Same price? The Pinnacle is $20 and the Sonus is $12. If you scroll down to the bottom of the CM page, you can get a gallon for the equivalent of $10 a bottle. IIRC, there was some talk about the Sonus QD's being sold in bulk packaging, you might want to email them about that.

I like FK 425 and Griot's SpeedShine a lot; Griot's has a minute amount of carnuba iirc, but 425 gives just a bit better slickness ime. 425 will be the cheaper of the two...

OK, so no one likes the Meguiers #34?

I am looking for cleaning QD.

Also, where the heck do I buy FK products like 425?

I like #34 but not for this (I only use it to remove polish residues when buffing). For a job like this I prefer QDs that leave something more substantial behind.

It's tough to beat FK425 ( Finish Kare, Automotive, Marine, Aerospace, Mold Release Agents, Paint Contamination ), I really like that stuff. The Griot's SpeedShine works very well on 476S too, and leaves a surprising amount of (I suppose it's) wax behind. Both are available in gallons.

I have some others around, including QwikShine, but the above two are my go-to products for the after-wash QDing. If I had to choose I'd say to just get a gallon of the FK425 and never look back..it's that good.

FWIW, I've been using them on the Blazer's 476S after every wash, and it's working out great even with the winter weather and some trips through the touchless (last coat of 476S was applied in early Sept.).

I like Danase Turbo Shine has some cleaning abilites and leaves a nice finish. I use Duragloss AW when I am just wanting to amp up protection.

#34 has great cleaning ability, but doesn't add much in the shine department IMO. On a freshly washed car, something like PB S&G, FK1 425, Adams etc. would be a better choice.

Ordered FK 425. Price was right. Gallon will be enough to take care of my Porsche Cayman S and Dodge Magnum RT. The latter one is a huge hog of detailing product (due to size :-) )
