Which combo......

Can't get it in here (no pepboys here)?? Are there anywhere that I can get it??

Some speed shops may still carry Wax Shop products. If not, QD isn't very expensive. Just pick up a few different ones and try them out.

How about NXT spray wax

Don't know, haven't tried it yet.

Again, QDs are relativelty inexpensive. Pick out a few, try them then go with the one you like best. At some point here, you are going to have to make your own decision on what products you have actually tried that give you the results you want.

NXT Spray Wax is NOT a quick detailer. It should only be used on a clean, dust free finish. The directions state to spray it on and then spread it with a clean towel or foam applicator, wait for it to haze and then wipe it off. Basically it is NXT Tech Wax in a spray form. It is meant to do quick touch-ups to your NXT Tech Wax finish. The directions also state that you can use it on the car while it is wet after a wash. You apply it after you rinse and then wipe it off as you dry the car.

How about giving FD a try?? Cheap and big but the thing is, it has silicone. It really isn't a big deal right?? Will I wash the silicone off everytime I wash my car??? If so I don't think it's a big deal.

I was sent a sample of FD .. I'm not a QD fan .. was ok .. hard to use on cold temps .. and if your worried about silicones and layering sealant .. Dawn wash first or don't use them.

If I Dawn wash the car wouldn't it remove the SG or just the silicone?? How often should I dawn wash if a use FD weekly and wash weekly??

I never detail a car before. I'm really new to detailing although I'm a member for 3 months
In that case, you really should just jump in and TRY a few products then.

It's not like there is a night and day difference between products with similar or identical jobs.

There is always some trial and error in finding out what products best suit YOU in the end, and you will never find out by trying to ask everyone what they all think and like forever. You seem to be obsessing far, far too much with product recommendations from only a few members.

Remember, everyone has to start somewhere.

C-MDX, do you see a trend in the recommendations here?

My recommendation: Just pick one, you'll be happy with any of the combos you have listed. Then, worry more about your technique than the products.

Often, detailing is done by harmless trial and error...

Reading all the descriptions on this board about one product or another will never be enough, so just pick something and try it. You won't know what problems you want resolved until you run into them yourself with hands-on experience.

Here is a picture of my car. When I feel the surface there doesn't seem to be much contaniments nor are there much swrils. Maybe it could be the lighting problem, I don't know.
