I am going to be working on a friends car tonight and I will be trying out my new Optimum products I got this week. I was wondering which of these combos would be harsher: OP on an LC Orange pad or OC on a LC white pad? He has the same car as me and our clears are pretty soft and thin. So I want to be as careful as possible after trying OP on a white pad.
Which combo is harsher?

I would start with the OP and a white polishing pad. If that doesn't work step up to a light cutting pad and so on...I always like to start out with the least aggressive first.
I always have good luck with the OC and the orange light cutting pad and then I finish off with the OP or Poli Seal.

process should be OC orange, then OP white - then wax...but like JUZTANG said, try the OPwhite first
