Which APC do you prefer?

I am looking to buy an all purpose cleaner that works well on cleaning most everything. I see a lot of posts on here in the show and shine where people have used the Meguiars APC but I know there are other brands out there. So I am just trying to get an idea on what everyone seems to think works the best. What do you all use?

I have Megs APC but next time I need some I'll get the APC+

Optimum Power Clean... It can be used for engine degreaser, wheels and tires, interior cleaning pre soak on the paint for bugs and degreaser, etc. Depending on what you want to do with it depends on the dilution ratio. Usually 3:1 on everything but if it's something very dirty then straight Power Clean works.

+1 Optimum Power Clean

I have been using Kleenol, from eShine.ca for my APC. It's excellent stuff. I use it for everything! I have also used Grime Reaper and Purple Power and you can not go wrong either.

I have only used meguiars APC+ and think it works very well. Have only used it 10:1 on interiors. Have not had much tough stains to need 4:1 yet.

I really like Poorboys APC. I have used it on lots of stuff and it has yet to let me down. I have used it on carpets to get stains out and on my engine to degrease stuff. Depending on what I am doing I dilute it from 10:1 to as low as 20:1 for average cleaning

What is the difference between APC and APC+? Is the plus stronger?

On the dillutions what do you all man by 10:1 and 3:1? 10 parts water to 1 part cleaner?

APC + is low foam

YES 10:1 = 10 parts water to 1 part APC

It works great on carpet stains, that is what I primarily use it for! It worked on a stain that nobody could get out, and didn't mess with the color of carpet at all

You will get mixed oppinions on Simple Green here. Some like it some dont. I personally never had a problem with it and you can get it for like $40 at Northern Tool. I dont use it but have used it in the past and used to use it on my motorcycles. The old stuff was very strong and BAD for metal. It does need to be diluted and you need to still be careful with it but it's not half as strong as it used to be. I think it was first made for aircraft cleaning but could be wrong. Too many products out there to keep up with the history of them all. :)

We have local stores called Dollar General. They have a product called Mean Green. Cost $5.00 gallon. Powerful stuff. Dilute as needed.

As far as APC and APC + what do you all think works bets at cleaning bare metal parts when cleaning under the hood? This is primarily what I am going to be using the APC form. It's not like my underhood is filthy, but I like to spray a cleaner on a rag and wipe everything down. I don't know how well this will work with just APC since it is supposed to be foamy. From what I have heard from Megiuars APC+ is supposed to be stronget than APC when mixed at the same dillution. What do you all use for the dillution on underhood stuff?
