Which alternative pads for UNO use?

Just a teaser, but wanted to let ya guys know ahead of time. :secret

After working with alot of body shops, we will be coming out with an additional HD Pad. Some body shops can not use wool as it can make a mess, but want the cutting ability of wool. We will be releasing a ultra aggressive White HD pad. It is meant for body shop fresh sanded paint. The body shops testing it say that it has even more cutting ability than the Meguiar's Burgundy Pad. :whoo:

We plan to release this in August.

1) Does it cut like wool?

2) How does it work on aged paint as compared to wool?

I'd love to hear your input on them when possible. Call or e-mail Debbie: [email protected] Ask for a sample of their sandpaper too. 1800-12,000 grit.

I fully agree on both counts, the TuffBuff wool really impressed me.

As for the Micro-Mesh, I was a little less impressed than I hoped I'd be, but I think part of that is because I discovered a slightly different technique is required when compared to traditional sandpaper. This stuff loves to leave deep tracers behind if you don't use an extremely light touch with it. I used it on this job recently to feathersand a bunch of RIDS:

We only had a few samples. I didnt get a chance to test it yet. Barry Theal was lucky enough to get two of them. Maybe he can chime in.
