I'm currently looking for a decent set of driving lights to install on my Scion tC. The foglights offered by Scion itself are around $350 plus install. in other words, way overpriced. They also have a wide beam pattern, which is not what I'm looking for. The standard tC headlights are rather weak in the center of the car and don't extend far enough onto the road for my liking, so I'm looking for a pair of more focused driving lights. The one company name that I know of that is synonymous with quality is automotive lighting is PIAA. I've browsed through their website and I think that I've decided on one of their 2100 series foglights. I know that the conventional white driving light would give a greater output of light most of the time, but living in florida it rains alot and at night in the rain, white lights suck. Because of this I decided to go for the 2193 style which utilizes their "plasma ion yellow" bulb.
The cheapest that I've found for these lights is $185 and change with free shipping included on cardomain.com. Does anyone know of a place that I can get them cheaper? Does anyone have any other suggestions for a different brand/model that I should use? I'm on a $200 budget keep in mind. Thanks for your help guys!
