Where to find steelies?

Weight is the enemy.
I have my '89 primered CRX. I have decided that I am not going to paint it because I have no money. I was looking at it and I realized that the silver wheels look really out of place. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get any flat black steel wheels for really cheap. I figure that the wheels I have now can be my winter set (Blizzaks already mounted) and I can get a set of crappy steel wheels mounted with stickier tires for more spirited driving. Does anyone know of a place that can hook me up cheap? I'm in the Central Ohio area.

The first place I would try is a local junkyard. Just ask for 13", 14" or 15" steelies with 4 x 100 lugs. You also might want to look at honda-tech.com. Hope this helps!

Here's a link to a site that I used to find non-Honda steelies for my gf's Accord SE:

http://www.custom-spinning-car-truck-rims-wheels.com/Honda.htm

Play around with the site & I'm pretty sure you'll find some wheels that are 4x100 and the correct offset.

Make sure the offset is correct or the wheels/tires will be too "far in" or too "far out" of the wheelwell ... either condition can cause rubbing and/or weird handling.

Also important to make sure the center bore (the hub hole) is correct 'cause you want the wheel to be located & supported by the wheel studs AND the hub .... not just the wheel studs. Your center bore measurement is 56.1mm.

I know the offset of my Accord 16's (winter rims) and 17's (summer rims) are +55mm which is standard Honda offset. My gf's 15's were also +55mm offset but a CRX or Civic could be different.
