Where to buy a rolling bucket or rolling stool to sit on while detailing.

The gentleman I detailed the Scuderia for had one from Griot's similar to this. I tried to find the exact model, but I guess it's been discontinued. I got to use his while working on the F-Car and it was fantastic.

Oh man, Hulk, that looks like just the ticket. Well, other than TotolandMach's lift. I've been trying to convince The Boss that a lift like that wouldn't just be good for detailing... I could use it to work on the cars, too. When I mentioned that, she got a look on her face that immediately told me "there will be a cold day" before I ever have my own lift.

I use a small plastic two step stool to sit on when doing wheels/tires. I sit on the lower step and keep the product/media on the upper step, or vice versa. My driveway's not conducive to small wheels. Gravel on the side of the house and inclined asphalt in the front.

Bought the Goodyear rollaround padded seat with cup holder and bottom tray at Sam's Club and it works out just fine.

I have this as well and its great! I highly recommend it!

I wish I found this thread earlier as over the Christmas break as I ended up making my own wooden dolly/cart for my wash and rinse buckets out of plywood and some nice caster's from Lowe's. It's a simple design, flat plywood floor with short 1.5" or so sides, but they also serve as a little cart if need be. I'll try to forward some pictures later

All the buckets fit nice. 3 of the dolly's have a smaller set of wheels, the 1st "prototype" had a larger set, but I realized that they were overkill. If they work out ok I'll probably end up painting them. The small one can even support a heavy battery without a sweat :woot2:

It was a dream come true, Supe.

I have to pick one up. I use my Sonus Bucket with the lid/pad, but it wasn't the same. Luckily the guy who owns the Bat Cave where I'm doing all of his cars, has two lifts in there....It made working on his 360 Modena a piece of cake.
