There is no cure!
Ok well as many of you may have read and seen, I gave my car its first engine detail 2 weeks ago (I think). I used Poorboy's TR on flat plastic and sprayed hard to reach areas with Stoner's Trim Shine.
Now I know many products don't last that long and aren't meant to. Poorboy's Trim Restorer is a durable dressing that when used on other surfaces, seem to last a heck of a long time as long as theres no rain or such. Stoner's Trim Shine is a solvent based dressing and has also been noted to last a long time, given to water comes in contact too. But after one week the shine was less and now 2 weeks later it just looks completely flat. Still looks nice, but very very flat.
Is this normal when it comes to engine dressing? Are there products that with stand and last more to the higher heat temperature?
Thanks Guys
