i used to work at a dealership and we used this stuff from car brite called crystal shine. it worked really well but didnt last that long. it was really easy to put on and take off. the problem is that im not a dealer and i cant find any way to buy it since i dont work there anymore. could anyone point me in the right direction so i could buy a gallon of this stuff.

try th e car brite web site that should have it. Why do you want something like that but it dosen't last long? Check Poorboys polish with carnuba works great last a good amount of time and is easy to use

Look in your yelllow pages for Auto Body Supply shops. They should be able to sell you what you are looking for.

Welcome to DC mah friend. Crystal Shine is the silicone based blue dressing for tires, correct? It has been a while sine I've used it, but AIM Chemcials in Atlanta sells it. I'd call Dwayne, cause I'm sure he can get anything.......

hm....crystal shine is a glaze right? I remember seeing A LOT of car brite stuff on clearance at the HDproducts store here in Charlotte.

my guess would be to try their website, or find their number and call them.

yea crystal shine is a glaze, pink colored i believe. its been a couple of years since ive used it but im not sure they make it anymore. could anyone provide me a like to one of these places. thanks

oh and its not like it only lasts a week its pretty durable, i just wax my truck probably once every two weeks so durability isnt really a concern to me.

i couldnt order from the link, i contacted them through email so we will see. is there anyone who is a wholesaler for the carbrite company out there.

True, Crystal Shine doesn't last to long but it's not supposed to. the shine is outrageous. If you want the best of both worlds try Laser Brite. If you contact car brite they Will refer you to a local distributor.

matt i have used crystal shine good stuff i use it on my wifes envoy and save the poorboys for me but for 8 bucks its not bad i get it from a place in rochester called aritaries on carter street in sure they would mail you some, cool guys and they know there shit i can get you the phone number if all else fails. i also use it on the washer, lawn mower, snow blower and stove

So is Crystal Shine an AOI product? I have a bottle in my garage that I haven't used yet (impulse buy), but may try it considering the comments. When I purchased the product from a local supply shop, someone mentioned to me that I should apply Crystal Shine first, then apply Pro's Satin Creme directly over that, then wipe off both at the same time. I tried this with other products (i.e. polish, then wax, then wipe) before, but I knew less then, and was definitely less discriminating in my products and process.

Here's Aratari's info:

I've used Crystal Shine for about 2 years now. I'd say it's more close to SSR1 than AIO. It's very easy to work with and real cheap. The paint is very smooth after it's finished. This is not a LSP. The LSP in the "Crystal" series is Crystal Finish. From reading the descriptions, Crystal Shield might be most like AIO as it says it's highly durable, I haven't used it so I can't comment.

BTW, has anybody tried the Black Pearl line?
