When you guys go to the coin-op wash...

Whether a car has 2 or 200,000 miles doesn't have all that much bearing on swirls really. If you car is dirty, you can't blast the top dirt off it @ a Coin-Op wash and QD it without creating marring. If his 02 is swirled from this method, then I'm certain his 08 is too. There's no way(even if you washed your car properly) to hand wash a car w/o creating some level of microscopic swirls. Unless you didn't touch you car for 18 months, it's going to get swirled. Can you agree to this?

The car you suggested us to look at (the 02) is swirled from improper washing. It's rediculous that he even boasts :getdown "NO swirls here" :getdownwhen in fact it's not.

i go to the coin op but i only use there water and i will use there pre soak to get the bugs off but thats it i wont touch there brushes i allways take a pre filled bucket with a lid and a second bucket with all my products that i will use.i can wash, wipe down,do the wheels and so on in about an hour.

That seems to be the best way to do it seems...

*off to Home depot for another bucket*

I just run mine threw the touchless car wash. Then I pay 50 cents for the vacuum and call it done! I gave up on my own cars a while ago. I do them once and usally never again. .

Microscopic? Yes. Visual to the nake eye assuming 20/20 vision? No. Spray and Wipe is not a QD. I'm as skeptical as they come so I know where your coming from. The product being used backs up what he says.
