When to polish.....

I've been debating this issue in my mind. I have a relatively new vehicle, and I've been very careful about protecting it from swirls, etc. I can see a few swirls on the trunk, but that is about it.

I just started my seasonal clay-AIO-SG cycle. I do have a PC, and thought about trying the Poorboys line of swirl removers as well (I also have megs #9 lying around). However, given thatI don't have much of an issue in that regard, I decided to hold off until the Spring.

Was this a mistake?

It's not a mistake if you don't think it is. Anything can be corrected, enjoy your car. :xyxthumbs

If it doesn't bother you it's not a problem. The swirls will still be waiting for you come spring, along with possibly a few more from winter ;) .

Hold on a minute....... you live in LA! What's this wait until Spring stuff????? The mid-70's a bit too chilly for you? Just giving you a hard time..... :D and like Jason said, enjoy your car!

yeah i would probably polish it but thats just because it would bug me. but if it doesn't bother you, then dont' worry about it.

I would just touch-up the swirls that are driving me crazy

LOL, Spring ? The bug doesnt have you yet.... I have trouble holding off til the next day ! I enjoy my car, both driving and detailing it .... Hot, cold... addicted to polish

Waiting for spring in LA....

I have some light swirls on my car, but since it's white, I have a hard time seeing them anyway...and that means that nobody in the general public will EVER notice them.

I'm leaving them until spring, when it will be above 50 degrees.

We reached 32F today, with strong winds and snow. :(

Good news though, is that the snow did not stick to the sides of my car...only the horizontal surfaces. (Thanks UPPx2)

If the wet snow won't stick, then I might even see the cold, dry snow blow off of the entire car later in the season!
