Well i know its summer around the corner, i wanna buff my whole car with the PC. What should be the temp outside to do the whole job? Obviously it will take the whole day. Some days it gets kind of chilly, its not hot hot out.

sorry buffing season is over

you will have to wait till next year

I actually heard that congress just passed a bill that will ban all buffing in residential areas for the next 20 years. Looks like we will be going back to the days of prohibition. :D

its not the buffing that you have to worry about, its the product choice...some like warmer and some like colder and some are super picky megs/menzerna/poorboys/hitemp...those are all the lines I carry with me so I have backup products just in case I have to detail in the sun, when its cool out, when its humid, etc.

I guess the next thread will be about what temp is ok for LSP...ok, back on topic!

The air temp is probably less important than whether the car is in the sun, if the surface of the car is hot, your polish may dry out faster and have less work time, gum your pads, and cause marring. Really high air temps/low humidity could also cause that. On the other end, I don't think at this time of year it could really be too cold to buff. Stop worrying and start doing!
