When has your premium MF had it?

Just wondering how you guys gauge when your nice mf's are done for. I have a bunch of PakShak towels I got a couple years back, they have only been cared for with pinnacle microfiber rejuvinator (or something like that).



Washed after each use, and stored in a rubbermaid container. Basically these towels have been well cared for.



Today when doing a QEW wash, my towels seemed very "grabby" and I just dont know if they have reached their end....





How do you guys gauge the end of a good MF?

Unless the nap is starting to get frayed, I would say they are fine..



Mine grab when its time for a new coat of wax..



I could be wrong though..
 
Yea I figured it was either a bad towel or I needed more wax. I waxed anyways, but I had a coat of zaino on there and it was still beading well. Interesting.
