I use Simply Green and the cheapest protectant. Remember, the wells will be filthy as soon as it hits the road.

hyper dressing
I've been using whatever I clean the tires with and my Daytona brush.
Then I wipe the wells with a foam appllicator and 303 AP. A couple spots I can't quite reach on some cars.
OPC, a brush, and usually an undercarriage spray (Griot's or CG). If you wash the wells with just soap next time, the UC spray actually does persist for several washes.
Also tried Meguiars Hyper-Dressing, and its ok, but not up to the quality of the Chemical Guys products I mentioned..

Bare Bones is greasy beyond belief. I tried it once and never used it again. Aerosol products are the best for wheel wells, IMO.or Bare Bones, both Chemical Guys products..

No, it's even greasy before it's sprayed out of the bottle.I guess anything would be greasy beyond belief if too much was sprayed on a spot, right ?![]()

That makes sense. I like to use something that I can spray on and walk away(Duragloss #265, Stoners Trim Shine, etc...)If you use it like a detail spray it is a mess. It is best to lightly spray and then use an applicator to given an even coat.
