Wheel wells... pumps/aerosols/overspray

I finished up my car this afternoon, and decided to use EO's aerosol tire dressing in the wheel wells. I managed to get light overspray on much of the car (Meg's QD... I think I got all of it off  ), along with a few spots of dressing on the treads (nothing major; I'm guessing it'll be gone in a few miles.)

I was wondering what you guys use to dress the wells. Aerosols? pumps? Any little tricks (while the wheels are on)? I know there's been a few well questions before, but I don't remember reading anything like this.

And do you spray and leave it alone (which I did today) or wipe it down?

old (clean) shop rag and a spray type dressing (ok I confess, I use regular old armorall for wheel wells and susp. components) just saturate the shop rag and wipe down the wheel wells, seems to work well for me and I get decent coverage. :up

I love the PoorBoy's B&B for this task. It really makes the wheel wells look great and is easy to apply with an old tire swap. No mess or overspray. Slightly saturate tire swap and wipe the areas required. It dries to a nice shine that compliments the rest of the vehicle.:xyxthumbs :wavey
