wheel well dressing...

what are you guys using??? I have been using black magic tire dressing for the wheel wells and it makes them look amazing...really dark and even coated... I was thinking for 5 bucks at the local kragen/pepboys, it lasts a long time because it spreads so nicely...out of a quart, I figure I can get about 30ish cars with 4 wheel wells and 4 tires each! for 5 bucks, thats pretty good IMO...any thoughts?

I use Griots Undercarriage spray. It's nice, but kinda expensive. Any thin tire shine product would probably work good.

I use DP and soon Wolfgang spray sealant. Makes it look nice, easy, spray on, wipe off. Also, the future dirt is lots less. Also, if you don't rub it all off, no biggie cause its up under there anyway.

I leanred this trick from docker on here, so kudos to him.

Try it, works great guys.

I use any tire foam thats cheap! I like foam because it seems to cover better!!

I agree. Armorall tire foam is what I use alot of the time. Any dirt that I can't get to is pulled off with the foam. And you don't have to go back and re-dress any spots missed.

I use CD-2 Engine Detailer...Find it around here for $2.00 a can

Would you happen to have a link to a source that has it at that price? I've seen it at much *higher* prices, nothing like $2.

It's sold at a local store about 15 minutes away..I dont think they have a website or anything. I'll probably go back within the next week, would you like me to pick you up some cans and ship them? Just pm me and let me know!

That's a very generous offer! Let me check my local places first and if I can't find it (cheap) I'll get back to you. Thanks!

I use 303 Protectant. I know it's a little more expensive. But since I use on the inside of my cars and truck. I use it in the wheel wells. It looks great!

yeah i use 303 on my own wells too but DEFINITELY not on clients cars wayyyyyyyyyy too expensive, unless you wanted to add 5-10 dollar upgrade i suppose.

I love the 303 stuff. Never thought of using it for wheel wells. Good idea. I see a lot of good ideas posted here.

I use Sonus Trim & Motor Kote. Great stuff. My engine bay looks great long after detailing. I also like the CD-2 for the engine bay. I'm sure it looks great on wheel wells too. Thanks. Later
