"Wheel Wax"

wierd, must just be on of those things where different products work different for different people, I've never had that problem. i've never had better durability from a product than from wheel wax, i love the stuff. i like it even better than zaino on my wheels!

Perhaps its the style of rim you have? What is it? Clear? Polished? painted?

i have painted ssr's on the integra, clear coated diamond cut lowenharts on the tl, m parallels on the 740i and the rest factory cleared wheels on the cars in my sig. use it on all of them.

Wheel Wax is nothing special IMO... it's by no means a poor product, but I feel I can get just as good results from using AIO or SRP for example.

JJ_ Wheel Wax is just like a stodgy liquid wax in a pot... hope that description helps.

I agree, I didn't like it at all (that's why I donated it to JJ). Although being a sucker I just bought PB's Wheel Sealant which looks like a pink version of WW. So far I'm much more impressed with this, easier to wipe off (typically PB) and a much better shine, but I'm sure I could get the same finish with EX-P or UPP over the AIO.

A lot of people seem to use it and like it on the M3 forum.

Perhaps it helps with the BMW brake dust problem :nixweiss

There is a review thread in the Detailing forum for the new michelin wheel brake dust repellent spray. The guy showed before and 1 week after pics. Im convinced its decent. Check it out.

I tried it and did not like it. IMO, it does not hold up well to the heat generated by wheels. When I drove hard on a still summer night, I could actually smell it evaporating off the wheels as I slowed down for stop lights.

HMM. I wonder if you can smell #26 or whatever other carnuaba you use melting off your car on a hot day. This is the fist time I am hearing of something like this. Sounds a little hard to believe.
