Last summer I spent an entire day removeing, stripping, cleaning, polishing, and refinishing my wheels (90 Buick Reatta alum mag type wheels) with a speciality British clear coat. And yup...it is beginning to peel off.
A couple of questions please...
1) I have a friend on this forum and the Reatta forum that has stripped his wheels and used the Klasse twins to finish. Seems to be happy with the results. My only concern is will I have to be careful with what I wash the wheels with if I go this route? Will I have to avoid wheel cleaners and use use mild soaps on the wheels?
2) I had an email the other day about a new product called "Wheel Wax". Anyone familiar and reccomend this product? OK to put over top of Klasse? I would also like to use this on another car with painted/clear coated wheels as well if it is recommended.
3) Are there better products or procedures for wheel re finishing than the above?
I am sorry for so many questions in one post ....
thanks,
Nic
