what's your winter protection going to be?

I have three vehicles to worry about.

1) 06 Kawasaki Z1000... Put in garage and shut the door.

2) 2000 Hyundai Elantra… Tape the back window so it stops falling down.

3) 2002 Land Rover disco II se… M83 DA polish… Sonus SFX 3 Final Finish Polish… Collinite #885... Wheels and windows will get Opti-Seal.

Collinite is pretty big with me in the winters. Haven't broke down to actually try the Zanio line up yet but I've been getting itchy to try it because it get so many recommendations...

I'll be doing what I did last year. First the Jeep needs to get a complete polishing before I do anything. The only time I ever used my Flex on it was to apply Vanilla Moose and then threw on a few layers of NXT 2.0 throughout the summer. This time around it's getting the full treatment, probably go at it with Megs new conditioning cream then most likely going for a layer or 2 of Collinite 845 then some megs #16 over that.

It's been a long time since either of our cars have gotten any love. I hope for clay, ZAIO, and Z5P x 2 on the Tahoe and clay, ZPC, Z5P x 2 for the Camaro.

Back to home--multiple coats of KSG for me. I'm just debating wether or not to get the paint 100% before I put down a few base coats.

Im in the same boat and also planning on using multiple coats of KSG topped with P21S. Im going to try and polish 100% this weekend but we'll see what happens.

This is my durango and I ocasionaly find a big snow and mud filled hole off the side of the road and I just have to plow through it, and sometimes make a second trip lol. My 22's come off and the knobby's go on in the winter, this thing has a split personality, or I do.

My other cars dont even know what snow is.

I prefer Einszett-Glanz during the winter months on the daily driver van.It resists salt and mud very very good also keeping the shine on a high level. For the winter- bimmer, a black Ford Focus Coupe-Cabrio, Zaino Z5/Z2/CS/Z8 is the first choice of course!

Last year i used the klasse twins with 3x of sg and that didn't quite cut it. So this year i am planing on doing the same thing, only this time topped with Collinite. I am not sure which one to use though. Which goes on easier, and which one lasts longer?

845 goes on a bit easier, but 476 lasts a bit longer.

I guess you could try to put it on before, it's kind of solventy I'm not sure if it wouldn't take the 476 off if you tried it after. IIRC they are really the same product, one a liquid version, the other a paste.

Ok thanks for the advice. I have some 845 that i have not tried yet, but i think i will be going to get some 476 tomorrow. Colorado winters are really killer on paint. Do carnuba's typically make it easier to clean? One thing i noticed with klasse it that the dirt kinda likes to stick to it.

Optimum Poli-Seal + Collinite 915 + Collinite 845 + Meguiar's NXT 2.0.

It may be too much, but I wanna try it since I aleady have all those products.

476S. The only product of all the ones I have that has lasted more than 10 weeks on my car.

I could not agree more with you. I recently picked up a pot at Harbor Freight and applied it to my wife's Explorer. This was back in early July. Just washed the Explorer again, still insane beading. Top product.
