My Rotary Power Machine = Makita 9227C !

"There is nothing better than the smell of Direct Drive Forced Rotation in the morning" :) :) :)

A great 10 lb workout for the upper body when you are holding it for 8+ hours at all kinds of angles + downward pressure..

And the Finish - Flawless... :)

Remember Popeye Cartoons - Yeah, Popeye got those arms from - guess what ??? :)

love me some flex 3401

i do use my griots garage for spreading wax and sealant but for any polishing and correcting, the 3401 is magic

take the 3401 and add microfiber pads and add fg400 and finish with sf 4500 and you can correct most anything on a car

3401 - best of all worlds

also using mini rupes for small areas, but am thinking about getting another 3401 with small backing plate for tight areas

It's been some time since I even picked one up but if I did it would be Griot's then Cyclo in that order.

Rupes 15
Rupes Mini

Sold the GG6 a while ago but that used to be my go-to prior to Rupes. I'm interested to try the new flex when it comes out

I just have my cheapo HF Chicago Electric. Comparable to PC. Clean and fresh pads are a must to keep cutting and it takes quite a while. Hopefully one day I can pick up a Flex or Rupes. It's just hard to pull the trigger on something that much. Even though I know it'll be well worth it.

I usually go to the rupes 15 or the GG 6 inch. Next one will be a the Flex DA when I can afford it. Honestly value and price wise it's hard to beat the GG 6 inch, lots of power and lifetime warranty. The rupes is just a bit more comfortable to use.

rupes 21, every day. rotary? i am a changed man, for the better! i use a rotary...not often anymore & cant remember the last full car i polished with one...has to go back to before i got my rupes 21 LOL.

Nothing wrong with that polisher. I have 2 of them myself. My Flex is my go to for major corrections but my HF gets its share of workouts. I think they are great machines for the price. I have yet to have one to break on me.
