Whats your favorite synthetic wax?

Zaino has been good to me so far. Haven't tried Klasse yet because the Zaino just won't stop beading!!!

Maybe I'll give Klasse a try when the Zaino is gone.

Where is the cheapest place to pick up the twins? Anyone know?

The term "synthetic wax" threw me off. I don't consider it a wax and its not called such. To me the term means a non-wax product that looks and acts like a wax. Blackfire and Platinum are examples of this definition.

So if this term is to mean any product except for ones that are wax based (be they carnauba, montan, parrafin, or beeswax) then my vote goes for Zaino.

Best gloss: Klasse AIO and Platinum UPP

Wettest shine: Poorboy's PwC and EX Sealant

Easiest to use is a 3 way tie between Poorboys, Winner's Choice and Final Polish.

Durability: So far, Final Polish and Winner's Choice. Haven't used the others long enough to accurately judge their durability....but they are holding up well so far.

Between Klasse and Zaino, I'd go with Klasse. Poorboy's EX is incredibly easy to apply and gives a very wet look. Your decision should depend on if you're looking for gloss, durability or wetness/depth of shine.

Collinite Insullator.

Just applied it 3 weeks (and 5 days of rain) ago. Deep, rich black, beads like a mofo.

I know that this doesn't directly answer your question but I like Klasse AIO followed by a good Carnauba, P21 or #26. The Kasse gives me a little longer protection and the Carnauba gives me the depth I want. I just try really hard to find a couple of suitable days during the winter for a follow up of the "normal" wax.

Klasse AIO and SG

On my car, I get an over-the-top, ridiculously glossy show car shine on a daily driver. It's like wearing an Armani suit while serving in a soup kitchen for the homeless - you just stand out. I've toned it down a bit with S100 on top as a sacrificial layer for winter but the side effect was even more clarity on the reflections despite the slight reduction in glossiness.

Autoglym, Platinum, Klasse,

Never had a problem with #20. Just washed again yesterday after a couple months of winter driving, still beads like crazy and it looked great just after a wash. #20 will give great results on darker colors by itself if the surface is in good condition, but doesn't really blow me away on white.

I could just say Zaino¡K but that won¡Â¦t mean much, would it? Research products yourself; not by somebody else.

I can't say enough about Detail Plus's Diamond Plus Sealant.

It isn't even marketed to consumers, but this stuff is great. You can only buy it in gallons, but an independent test report showed it matched Zaino in Gloss & Durabiity, and it's a fraction of the cost at $23/gal. The downside is a gallon lasts a WHOLE long time for me!

Worst yet is that being a hardcore Collinite user Diamond Plus is now being used 50% of the time.
