What's your favorite product for wheel wells?

I used to use No Touch, but i found out that a can cann't go very far on wheel wells, and I do more trucks/SUV's than anything so they take a lot. I use Armor All now, I go to Wal-Mart and get the gallon for $8-9, whatever it is. I use it on the undercarriage too. It's cheap enough to use a lot and a gallon can usually last me a while

regular water-based armorall. just dillute it half and half and its a perfect wheel-well dressing.
I just started diluting the stuff, I always thought it wouldn't work as good if you added water, but I was wrong. It makes a gallon last a whole lot longer too!

It's the perfect product for wells. It's cheap and easy to get ahold of :)

ROCK

Two product PB B-n-B that is 75/25 water mixed....Also P&S has Shine All that is great about 20 bucks a gallon...you can mix this one but I don't water based. It goes along ways and will be better than the AA

This stuff is awesome. Gives a high shine and will last awile. Collects no dust, and a can will last 2 1/2 cars if your only using it for wells. it also comes silicone free. I buy it by the case, 12 for 21.95. I only use this stuff on full details, all others get AM water based dressing.

PB's BnB for tires and wheel wells. Finishes dry to the touch, you can adjust how much gloss you want (or don't want), does not attract dust, has some cleaners. Only wish I could source it locally :D

I've been using mine full strength as a little seems to go a long way, but maybe I'll check into diluting it as mentioned above.

I start with an off-brand Industrial degreaser. I pick it up at a place called "Industrial Supply" in the local industrial park. (How many times can I use the word 'industrial' in this post?)

Then, I let sit for 2-3 mins and wash with a soft mitt. Meguiar's Car Wash and Conditioner in the bucket. Rinse.

Then, I use Meguiar's Leather/Rubber Dressing #40 to add a great shine!

Keep on truckin!

For my personal car I just clean the wheel wells with APC, but it's a sports car so you don't see much wheel well. For trucks I like to use the Griot's Under Carriage spray. It's not as economical as diluted AA, but it seems to last longer, dirt does not stick to it as much, and it really blackens the rubber coating.

Plastic wheel wells....Mop-N-Glow
3Dog, how long have you been using MnG? How is dust/dirt attraction? How is the durability? I seem to recall someone else using this product for this application with the reasoning the acrylic composition of the product equalling durability.

FWIW, I have tried AA's tire foam and compared to BnB, AA proved to be a dust magnet.

As long as it dries before driving, I have never had a problem. Depending on weather (rain) a week is about all I get..but still longer than other "dressing" type sprays.

I saw something called Grape Tire Dressing. I'll never know if it's any good though. Apparently, they can't ship this product to MA. This is the first time I've seen this. Usually most places won't ship products to CA due to their strict environmental regulations. MA is strict but nowhere near as strict as CA.

Stoners More Shine Less Time works well for me. It does contain silicone however. I do the wheel wells first then start to work on the rest of the car.

Stoner Trim Shine works really well for me.

I also use this product. I like it because it's just spray and walk away. No need for an applicator to apply and it dries hard so no need to buff.

CD-2 Engine Detailer (for durability)

Meguiar's Hyper Dressing cut 3:1 (for cost-effectiveness)

I tried the CD-2 Engine Detailer. It didn't dry hard and left a slimy mess that needed buffing. I prefer a spray on and walk away product.
