Can't wait to try this combo out next week. Already tried the MG with good results. The RC should tackle my swirls in a more timely manner though.

for swirls/scratches:

pc - SSR 2.5 w/cutting pad

pc - SSR 1 w/polishing pad, if needed to remove hazing from the 2.5

for general polishing:

pc - SSR 2 w/polishing pad

pc - SSR 1 w/polishing pad, again if needed

all speeds are between 5 and 6

all pads are LC pads

Please post before and after pics. I don't think most people realize how good of a combo that is. You are going to absolutely LOVE it. Have fun! :xyxthumbs

I gotta tell you, on black Audi paint via Cyclo,

I just finished up attacking some micromarring with 1z PP X2 and yellow LC cutting pads, Prep All wipe down

then followed up with Menzerna FP and white LC polishing pads

I took a relatively short amount of time doing this to about 85% of my front passenger side fender, I'd say I truly got ( not covered up) out 99.5% of the micromarring without breaking a sweat! :up I was extremely pleased. I followed with the Klasse twins by hand :xyxthumbs

That combo works very well by hand or PC.

Another product I just picked up and works awesome by hand is 3M Perfect it II Rubbing Compound Paste PN 39502. This stuff has some bite to it but still leaves a really nice finish. Follow up with some Machine Glaze and you are ready for wax/sealant. I had used the liquid version of PI II RC but this paste version is great.

I just did #80 Speed Glaze followed by VM. The best combo that I have ever tried. I topped it with EX-P. Massive results.
